Hall

The elegant interior and photogenic gardens make Capesthorne an ideal venue for wedding receptions, civil marriages, civil partnerships and other celebrations. At Capesthorne, we pride ourselves on individuality and can offer the Hall (including the Garden Terrace area) exclusively for a Wedding and/or Reception with access to the lakes and the gardens.

Civil marriages/partnerships can be held in the Drawing Room with a champagne reception and wedding breakfast in The Saloon and Queen Anne Rooms for up to 80 guests (up to 140 guests if reception only) followed by evening celebrations for up to 150 guests in the lakeside Garden Terrace and Bromley Rooms.

For larger weddings it is possible to hold a civil marriage/partnership in our contemporary new Pavilion adjacent to the Hall followed by a reception for up to 500 people. The Pavilion is a contemporary, stylish structure which offers versatility of space to create your own vision of the perfect wedding day.

It is also possible to book the Hall and Pavilion together and receive exclusivity of the lakeside gardens.

Every wedding at Capesthorne is as individual as you are but includes the following as standard:

• Exclusive use of the Hall, to include the Entrance Hall, Queen Anne Room, Sculpture Gallery, Saloon and Drawing Room.
• Floral arrangements in the Hall (provided courtesy of Lady Bromley-Davenport)
• Use of the en suite Dressing Room for final preparations by the bride and her bridesmaids.
• Access to the terrace overlooking the West Lawn for post ceremony drinks
• General viewing of first floor exhibition rooms giving your guests further insight into the history of Capesthorne Hall.
• Capacity: Hall up to 80 for a Civil Marriage and Wedding Breakfast or 140 if reception only.  Lakeside Garden Terrace Room and Marquee area for dancing -  up to 150
• Beautiful Lakeside Evening Area (recently refurbished) including marquee overlooking lake for dancing (this area can be hired independently from the Hall midweek and some weekends subject to availability)
• Use of 100 acres of picturesque gardens, parkland and lakes for your wedding photographs
• Ample free car parking for all your guests
• Preferential discounted room rates at nearby hotels for you and your guests

A Civil Ceremony in the Hall can be followed by a Blessing in the private Family Chapel, by arrangement.

Are dependent on guest numbers and the day of the week selected, but range between £3,000 - £4,100 + VAT. Late availability deals for 2009 – ring for details

Lakeside Bromley/Garden Room/Marquee (midweek only) and use of gardens from £2,000+VAT
